Heavy Heart

It is with a heavy heart that I report that Karen only has 9 days left until she will be kicked out on the street to live a life of prostitution and try to survive on her own. This girl captured my heart two years ago. Why couldn't anyone see her potential? What an awful way to celebrate your 16th birthday!

Handmade Top 10

I earned a permanent place on the Handmade Top 10 list! I added it to my sidebar. Mine is the plate in 8th place.

I am offering a coupon code in my shop this week. Take 12% off any order for the first twelve days of the year with code NEWYEAR. http://www.etsy.com/shop/krafterskorner?ref=si_shop

Happy New Year!

Secret Santa

This is the first time I have ever participated in a Secret Santa gift exchange. It is fitting that it was with my very favorite Etsy team, the CAST (Christian Artists Street Team).

My gift was from Sue. She has two shops MYSAVIOR http://www.etsy.com/shop/MYSAVIOR in which she sells beautiful handmade photo cards and RefinedRecycling http://www.etsy.com/shop/RefinedRecycling?ref=ss_profile in which she sells wonderful vintage items.

I received two full outfits. Two long sleeve shirts in my favorite color and two pairs of my favorite flannel pants. It could not have been more useful and appreciated! I will enjoy wearing them all winter.

Winners!

Congratulations to Julia, Sue, Becky, and Zuda for winning my giveaway! Since there were only four people that entered, I decided to give them each their choice of die cuts. Ladies, please contact me with which shapes you would like and where to send them. Congratulations!!

Giveaway!

It is time for a giveaway! There will be three winners! Three people will each win 50 Die Cuts. You get to choose five designs that you would like 10 of from these 10 choices: (see photo below) 1. dragonfly 2. small butterfly 3. large butterfly 4. cross 5. large snowflake 6. small snowflake 7. teddy bear 8. splat 9. flower 10. heart

I will choose the colors.

The second picture contains a penny for size reference only. The third photo is just a sample of a few things you can make with them. The giveaway will run for one week. I used rafflecoptor to make it easy for me to keep track of entries. Please leave me your email address or Etsy username in a blog comment or the rafflecoptor form, so I have a way of contacting you when you win. For any prize not claimed within 24 hours, I will draw a new winner.

Auction

There is an auction going on here for one of my gift certificates. Lots of great items up for bids. It all goes to support adoption!
